Welcome to the web site of the Naples/Ft. Myers Barbershop Chapter, one of over 800 chapters of The Barbershop Harmony Society(SPEBSQSA) and an active member of the Sunshine District.
Our Mission:
To bring men together in harmony and fellowship to enrich lives in SW Florida through singing.
Our Vision:
To be the premier membership organization in SW Florida for men who love to sing.
Our Goals:
To contribute to the well-being of people and organizations in SW Florida through singing, service, and philanthropy.
To present an annual show each year that will offer audiences a quality musical experience which is highly entertaining.
To prepare for and perform at the Sunshine District Spring convention in a manner that results in an improvement of scores in each of the three judged areas.
We are a group of 91 men who enjoy singing a cappella music together in the classic barbershop harmony style and we call ourselves the Paradise Coastmen. Our members come from all walks of life and range in age from the late-30's to the mid-80's. Few have had any formal music training, but all enjoy getting together to socialize and ring chords in four-part harmony.
Our chorus is a service organization. We provide good, wholesome entertainment to various business, civic, and church groups and bring a smile to shut-ins, people in hospitals, rest homes, and retirement centers. Our desire is to make Naples and the surrounding areas of Bonita Springs, Marco Island, and Fort Myers a better place to live through our music. In short, our mission is to sing well, have fun, and promote good 4-part a capella harmony to all of our listeners.
We enjoy our hobby and would like to invite you to visit one of our rehearsals. We rehearse in the chapel of the First Baptist Church in North Naples every Thursday evening from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. The church is located at the intersection of Livingston Rd and Orange Blossom Dr.
